My name is Maanav Shingala and I go to Karate USA. I wanted to do something different, so my dad suggested that I should read books and every book I read he would pay me 50 cents. I wanted to make 25$ dollar so I needed to read about 50 books. I went to my school media centre and everyday I start bringing books home and reading them. It took me about two and half weeks to read them.
I was going to donate that money to one of the charities but then in my school said they were raising money to send to Japan for the earthquake. I thought that was a good way to donate my money. I gave all the money I earned to the school to send to Japan. I was happy that I did something for the people in Japan.
